We’re two weeks into the summer 2023 anime season. There are so many new shows that it is hard to track them all. Currently, I am watching:
- Am I Actually the Strongest?
- The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses
- The Great Cleric
- Horimiya: The Missing Pieces
- Masamune-kun’s Revenge
- Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2
- My Tiny Senpai
- My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1
- Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon
- My Happy Marriage
- Zom 100
- Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Part 2
I am having trouble tracking them all, but hopefully, it gives me a lot of future content since I like to watch the whole show before writing about it.
So far, I really like My Happy Marriage on Netflix. I am a sucker for a good romance. So far, the anime is much like a Cinderella story. Who doesn’t like a nice Cinderella story?

Of course, there is Jobless Reincarnation. There isn’t a better anime out there this season. It is such a great show with an amazing storyline. Rudeus has to recover from a broken heart and deal with life on his own terms.

I had been looking forward to season two of Masamune-Kun’s Revenge for a long time, but it is going pretty slow. I am not sure I enjoy this season of Masamune-kun as much as I did the first season. We’ll see if it picks up.

In addition to anime, I have been watching some new K-dramas. As you know, I am a sucker for a good K-drama. Currently, I am watching King the Land on Netflix. It’s a great romantic comedy. I am about halfway through the season and have loved every episode thus far.

I have also started writing a short story. I’ve had this idea in my head and decided to commit it to writing. It’s a love story between a high school and a college student. It’s sickeningly sweet. I thought it would be fun to write it out.
Anyhow, that is how July is panning out. I’ve been happy with my progress in posting twice a week. I am hoping now that I have graduated from school, I’ll have time to keep up with a consistent schedule.
