Brief Summary

Anzu is a high school girl addicted to three things: video games, chocolate, and her cat, Momohiki. She is a bit of a slob who wears cat t-shirts and doesn’t put much thought or care into her outward appearance. Some could say she is a bit boyish and has a temper. While playing a video game, the wizard Riri appears and states they will bring romance to Anzu. Anzu has absolutely zero interest in love. In an effort to keep Anzu participating in this real-life otome game, Riri takes away the three loves of her life: chocolate, video games, and Momohiki. In a bout of rage, Anzu vows to become the romance killer.

My Thoughts

The premise of this show is quite ridiculous. However, that did not stop me from enjoying every minute. The animation was a bit extra as well. It had me in stitches. There was nothing extraordinary about the show. Regardless, I found myself anticipating the next episode. What silly situation will Anzu get herself into? Her parents were whisked off to America, leaving Anzu to live alone. This allows Riri to create opportunities for love. One by one, ridiculous situations arise where Anzu tries her best to resist love. If you’re in the mood for something lighthearted to make you giggle, give this anime a shot. You can find it on Netflix.
