I cannot believe it is September. Time is flying so fast!

I thought I’d write a little real-life update. Not too long ago, I wrote that we were planning on transitioning our upstairs gaming room to our downstairs dining room. Below is a picture of what my dining room looked like. On the right-hand side are boxes from my work office. If you recall, it got struck by lightning and started a fire. I had to move all of my belongings home. So, that’s the mess you see on the right side. Our garage was filled with junk, so it had to live in the dining room. Then, there is a pittance of my husband’s disc golf collection. Yes, I am being sarcastic LOL.

After clearing the dining room, we decided to go with BTS purple and a purple-tinted white. You can hardly see the purple in the white. I always hated the khaki color on the walls, but it was neutral and I was too lazy to paint the entire downstairs area. The wine color was done recently to match our living room furniture. I never loved it. In one night, we completed the walls.

After we painted, we moved the furniture down. I am considering getting a desk like my husband’s so that we can have both desks match, but that is going to be way down the line.

We had these lofty plans to incorporate a lot of RGB and anime pictures. That part hasn’t happened yet. That takes money, and we’re too busy spending money on Rikka to worry about RGB lighting at the moment. However, I DID order myself a ChibiChonk sign.

The office is about 90% complete. We just need to decorate the walls and it will be finished.

What else is going on in my life? Oh, we booked another Princess cruise. We will be going to the Western Caribbean in January 2024. I am really excited to go on another cruise. I am ecstatic that we won’t have to fly for this cruise. We’re sailing out of Galveston, Texas so we only have to drive about four hours to get to the port. I enjoy cruises more than any other type of holiday I’ve been on. I love the convenience of it all. Food, entertainment, excursions. If you’ve never been, I suggest doing your research and seeing if it is something you’d be interested in. I can’t wait to share that experience with you all.

What has your summer been like? Are you ready for the fall? Any big plans in the works? Let me know in the comments!
