Name a couple of hills you would die on.
#1 – Pineapple does not belong on pizza!
Sorry, pineapple lovers. I don’t think it belongs on pizza. Personally, the pineapple and cheese combination makes me gag. I am not sure if it is a texture thing or whether it is a sweet/savory thing. I know it’s a “don’t put it on my pizza” thing. Another topping I don’t care for is tomatoes. I know, I know. The sauce is made of tomatoes. I don’t like the texture or taste of sliced tomatoes on pizza. My favorite type of pizza is a “supreme” pizza or the “works.” Typically, it has pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, olives, and bell peppers.

#2 – Personalized license plates are a weird flex.
I know this one is totally random. I think personalized license plates are such a weird flex. I don’t really have an explanation regarding why I think it is weird. I laugh at a lot of them. People get really creative. It’s your car. Your money. Do whatever, but I will maintain it is weird. If I had to get a personalized license plate, I would try to use my gamer tag, ChibiChonk, somehow.

#3 – Self-Checkouts are AWESOME!
I understand the arguments against them. They take away jobs. You are “working for free.” I get it, sort of. For me, my time is, selfishly, more important. No, I don’t want to make awkward small talk. No, I don’t want to sign up for another credit card. No, I don’t want to wait behind a person that does. Self-checkout is amazing. Our local grocery store has it set up where you can scan with your phone and shop. We bring our bags, pack them the way they want to be packed, and then pay at the special register. We don’t have to unload and reload anything. It’s great. We are in and out of the grocery store. What gets me is why people are so petulant about it. If you want to use a cashier, use a cashier.

How about you? What are some weird or not popular opinions you have?
