SUMMARY

Allen Crawford is a misanthropic sorcerer known as the “Dark Lord.” When he comes across Charlotte Evans, a noblewoman exiled on false charges, his memories of being betrayed three years ago come rushing back. He decides to teach Charlotte about all the pleasures, vices, and joys of naughty living. Can a broken heart be mended with riotous living? These two are bound to find out!

Episode Summary

Our protagonist Charlotte Evans is being chased by soldiers through a forest. One of the soldiers warns that the forest is inhabited by one called the Demon Lord who is vicious to trespassers. During her escape, Charlotte falls and in the distance, she sees a lit mansion and passes out.

The next morning, Allen Crawford is reading the newspaper that reports a wicked woman has fled from the neighboring nation. Feeling her presence, he seeks out this “wicked woman.” As he picks her up, he senses the royal guards nearby. They quickly engage in a battle in which Allen is far superior. He uses magic to make the royal guards return with the story that they lost her trail and assumed she had been attacked by a monster.

Allen brings Charlotte to his house. When she wakes she tells Allen that the prince she was engaged to accused her of being a traitor and called off their engagement. Allen deduces that the prince framed Charlotte because of another woman, or he simply did not want to marry the child of a mistress. Allen then hires Charlotte as a maid. He explains to Charlotte that he, too, had been deceived by people he trusted. When Charlotte hesitates, he puts a curse on himself that will stop his heart in three minutes if she disagrees.

Allen deduces that Charlotte was a “noble lady” by title only and was a servant in her own home. After they cleaned, Allen tells Charlotte that she can have time to do what she wanted. It became clear that Charlotte did not have much free time as she had no hobbies. Allen then decides he is going to give her a crash course on all things naughty in the world beginning with eating dessert for dinner.

When she starts to cry with happiness, Allen gets concerned that she is so happy by him simply caring. He tells her it is only the beginning.

I love it! You have the damsel in distress and you have the unlikely hero. What a wonderful combination. Will there be a budding romance? I would love to see that. I am excited to learn all the “naughty” things he teaches her!
