How is everyone doing? I hope your life is going well and that you are all in great health and happy!
October has flown by! It seems like the older I get, the easier time flies. The biggest news is I had a small surgery. I had a cyst that needed to be removed. Currently, I have a small hole in my chest and the sutures look like a spider. Every time I see it in the mirror, I jump because I think I have a spider (or one of those huge cockroaches) crawling on me!
Rikka is a handful. It rained a lot during the month of October and Rikka found her love of the mud. We learned she loves to chomp at falling water in all forms. She even wants to get into the shower if you let her into the bathroom. She is a sweet dog, though.

Muffin is our little old lady. We got her pajamas for the winter.

For the first time in a long time, we handed out candy on Halloween. We had such a good time sitting outside and handing candy to the littles. We saw so many creative and cute costumes. The best costume of the night was easily the little girl dressed as Nezuko from Demon Slayer. I asked her where Tanjiro was and she smiled. I was able to use my BT21 Halloween inflatable. I wasn’t able to put it out during the week before because of all the rain, but luckily, Halloween was a dry day/night. I put on my adult onesie of Pusheen the Cat.

We had a new attorney start here at the office. She’s a great addition to the firm. We have discussed our mutual desire to have a Christmas tree decorating contest this winter. Then, on Texas Paralegal Day, she gifted me the cutest little Christmas tree. I already have it up in my temporary office.

Speaking of the office, they finally got the roof done and reconstruction should be beginning soon. For those of you who don’t know, our office was struck by lightning, which caused a fire, which caused the fire suppression system to flood the building. We are in a temporary location until the building is rebuilt. The building was less than a year old. Here is me walking through my office kicking the water.
I am looking forward to November. Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year because I love to cook and feast on the feast! I have a 6ft. inflatable turkey that is going out this year. AND, I already have a turkey on my work door.
Blogging has been going okay. I have a lot of anime that I am watching and that has me bogged down a bit. I had increased my postings from twice a week to three times a week. That might have been a bad move. However, I like the three times a week. I just need to get some time to sit and write more than one post at a sitting. Goalwise, I would like to put more content up for my other categories. I just haven’t had the time.
Hope you’re all well and stay well!
