People really despise targeted ads, but I have been the recipient of many great suggestions. One of those suggestions is the game Abducktion.

Gameplay

You are an intern on a UFO. You are given assignments to abduct ducks from your supervisor, Dave. You use action cards to rearrange your ducks or your opponent’s ducks. When you can match the ducks to the assignment cards, you can abduct the ducks into the UFO. You then replenish your ducks to keep the ponds full.

My Thoughts

This game is a lot more challenging than I anticipated! But, in a good way. The quality of the game pieces is amazing. The ducks are absolutely adorable and made to last.

The spaceship is also quite cute. It makes shuffling the ducks easy.

I thoroughly enjoy this game. It’s a quick-paced game that can be easily explained to others. It is perfect as a starter game for game night. It definitely gets the brain juices flowing. This game is definitely more fun with more players, so I suggest picking up the expansion. I don’t have any negative feedback. The game is straightforward and we didn’t run into any weird game mechanics that made the game undesireable. Pick up your copy for a good time!
