Time is just marching along!

OFFICE BUILDING

Looks like we’re slated to move into our office building the last week of July. THE. LAST. WEEK. OF. JULY…It’s going to be 100+ degrees out. I am totally not looking forward to that.

Despite that, I am ready to drop some money on the new space. I picked out some Amazon furniture to go into the corners. I have some Lego plants that I want to display. I have the orchids, the cacti, and the roses. I’m pumped to get the Nespresso Virtuo Pop for my office. I love drinking iced coffee and the Nespresso iced coffee is awesome!

DOODLES

I haven’t had much time to doodle as of late. This one didn’t come out like I hoped. It’s SUPPOSED to be Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter, but I didn’t capture his essence. The eyes aren’t quite right. The face shape is wrong. The coloring got sloppy. Well, to be honest, I didn’t have a flesh colored marker light enough to capture Hisoka’s pale skin. I also used the wrong color to do the shading. Looks like he has lack of sleep LOL.

SECURITY SYSTEM

There have been break-ins in our neighborhood. Some in broad daylight. So, we bought a new home security system complete with cameras all around the house, cameras on the inside, and motion detectors. It might be a tad bit much, but I’ve noticed our neighborhood going down in quality and I want to make sure that our house remains untouched. We are not home a great part of the day and our dogs are crated when we are gone. They wouldn’t be much of a deterrent. Does she look like a guard dog to you?

KINDLE

I finally got around to buying a Kindle and I have been loving it. I used to have a Nook, but got bored with it. So far, I’ve read Desert Places by Blake Crouch. It’s the first book of the series and I look forward to reading more. I have also started Zodiac Academy by Susanne Valenti and Caroline Peckham. It’s my kind of trash. It lays just above teen novel to make it a bit cringe. Why I torture myself with it, I don’t know. It has nine books and I am going to read all of them. I have also been reading my share of manga. The Kindle is going to make me go broke with all that manga at my fingertips!
