EPISODE 6: LOVE 6. THE PRETTY BOY IS HEARTBROKEN?!

Ruka walks away, beyond pissed. Mito is worried that she truly pissed him off. Juri and Takara decide to skip school and invite Mito with them. They take her to the beach. They rent a huge float and Takara is pushing Mito and Juri. Takara gets distracted by pretty girls and Juri gets sad. Mito picks up on it and asks Juri if he likes Takara.

Juri admits it while telling Mito that there isn’t much he can do since Takara likes girls. Takara comes back after he gets rejected by the girls. However, Takara finds a sakura seashell and gives it to Juri which makes Juri happy. Watching Juri and Takara interact, she admires Juri’s strength. She decides she needs to go back and apologize to Ruka.

Back at the café, Ruka is making sweets to give to Mito to apologize. As Komori comments about Ruka’s pale complexion, the girl who wants to confess her feelings shows up. Her name is Maina. The trio arrives back at the café. Mito immediately starts looking for Ruka. She seeks out Komori to ask where Ruka is. Then, in a cryptic way, Komori asks Mito whether she will be able to overcome all the obstacles ahead. He looks out the window and Maina and Ruka are standing outside. Maina asks Ruka if he has someone he likes. He immediately thinks of Mito.

Then, Maina asks him to go out with her. Ruka then collapses from anemia. As Mito starts to rush to Ruka, Komori stops her. He tells her that Ruka has a perfectly good female in front of him. Komori goes out and asks Maina to escort Ruka back to his dorm room. Maina agrees. Mito starts to daydream about what is going to happen when Maina goes to Ruka’s dorm room.

Her daydreaming is interrupted by screams of girls. Ren is in the cafe dressed in a uniform. Mito asks Ren what he is doing and he said Komori forced him to work since the reason Mito was late was due to Ren. Ren notices that Mito looks like she is going to cry. He expresses he is worried about her. Ren invites Mito to stay with him if she has no where else to go. Interrupting, Juri calls Mito to the kitchen. There sits the concoction that Ruka made as an apology. Juri is happy that Ruka wants to make up with Mito, too. Grabbing the concoction, Mito runs to Ruka making sure to apologize to Ren on the way there.

Meanwhile, Ruka wakes up with Maina leaning over him. His body reacts to her strawberry scent. He wants to feed, however, he has Mito on his mind. Despite her smell, he turns her down. He admits that Mito is the only one on his mind. Bursting into the room, Mito is carrying the dessert. She thinks she is interrupting something, but then blurts out an apology to Maina and states that she is the one that belongs by Ruka’s side.

After Maina leaves, Ruka immediately wants to feed. As Ruka is feeding, Mito’s stomach gurgles. Realizing that he has been the only one eating, he feeds Mito a strawberry. Then he admits he was lonely without Mito. He asks Mito if there is anything he can do for Mito. She wants to confess and tell him she wants him to love her as a woman, but she knows she can’t. Instead, she asks that just the two of them go somewhere. He agrees and then realizes…

THOUGHTS

I really liked this episode. It was less cringy than normal. It was sweet that they are finally being honest with their feelings. Well, as much as they could be at the moment. And what about Juri and Takara? Can you say the best friends a girl could have. They are really and truly two great guys. I am hoping her blood turns better soon. She’s very loved by Ruka, Juri, and Takara. You would think there would be more progress. I’m still leery of Komori. What is that guy up to? Will continue to monitor.
