EPISODE 1: ANOTHER WORLD AND TWINS
We meet our protagonist, Kayano Takumi. We learn that a God named Sylphyryll accidentally killed him. Syl reincarnated Takumi into a world called Etelldia. However, he dropped Takumi in the middle of a dangerous forest! As he is walking, he runs into a set of twins.

Takumi learns they are alone. He can’t just leave them there in the middle of a forest. So, he provides them food and new clothes. When he introduces himself, they still won’t talk to him. So, he decides to name them Alan and Elena. They head to town. On the way, the children sense something and start to run away from Takumi. Takumi notices monsters, however, the children are not swayed. They break out some amazing martial arts leaving Takumi stunned.

Takumi makes a deal with the children. They should tell him if they sense something first. They continue walking and they point out another monster before taking it out. It’s getting dark and Takumi sets up camp. They finally make it to town.
At the gate, they learn they need an ID to get into town. Takumi makes a story up that they’re from the sticks. The guard runs them through a preliminary check and they all pass. In town, the children are super afraid of strangers. Takumi takes them to a church where he prays to the God. There, he learns that Syl put the children in his path by playing a trick on Syl and telling him he was going to drop them off at an orphanage. Takumi learns that the children are special and he can’t tell him exactly why he needs to watch the children. They head to an inn and fall asleep.
The next day, they head to the adventurer’s guild where they enroll as adventurers. They name their party White Wings. They take their first quest gathering herbs. When they return, they have a huge amount shocking the clerk. They earn their first payment. As they’re collecting their money, another adventurer calls the kids brats and tries to start a fight. The children protect Takumi.

The clerk calls it self defense. The guard, Sir Lowain, from the gate walks in and asks what the ruckus is about. The clerk points out to Takumi that the children are crying and tell Takumi not to leave them. The clerk and guard find out that they are not Takumi’s children and it is assumed they were dumped as bait. The captain of the guard appoints Takumi their guardian.
The clerk pounces on Takumi asking if he has any materials from the forest. He gives her the meat from the red wolves that he beat. They earn a sizeable chunk of money.
Takumi learns that Sir Lowain was headed to the guildmaster to talk about the upcoming expedition to cull monsters from the Forest of Gaia. Sir Lowain volunteers Takumi for the upcoming expedition.

THOUGHTS
What a wholesome show. There is nothing unique about it. It’s a run-of-the-mill isekai with the addition of raising children that are overpowered. I like how wholesome Takumi is. He took in the children without a second thought and bonded with them almost immediately. The children are adorable. I am interested to see where this one will take us. We know there is something special about the children. Did the God really kill Takumi by accident?
