I turned 44 today. I feel like 65 LOL. Seriously, though. All of those stereotypical things are happening to me. Cough too hard? Pulled muscle. Sneezed too hard? Pulled muscle. I go to sleep at 9 p.m. I can’t seem to sleep through the night anymore and wake up super early. I am noticing bigger bags under my eyes. Coffee isn’t near as helpful as it used to be, but don’t let me start a morning without it. My knees. Lord, my knees. Why do they hurt so much? Bend over too long, my back! Why does getting older suck so much?
We don’t have any plans today. We celebrated my birthday early since it is in the middle of the week. I already posted those shenanigans.
For your enjoyment, here is another picture with my Shooky hat my husband got me. As previously mentioned, I looked for this hat everywhere. I could only find it on eBay. (They now have them in stock on the Line website. I apparently didn’t look hard enough.) Then, at H-Mart, I browsed a pop-up shop and found it! Ever since I saw Suga wearing one, I wanted one. I think I want to go back and pick up Chimmy (Jimin), too. If you are wondering, YES. I wear these out in public. Maybe not now because it is summer, but definitely in the winter. You will see me wearing this hat with pride!
On another note, I miss singing. I found this recording of me pretending to be Jasmine. I can’t sing much anymore. I haven’t maintained my vocal chords like I should have. Feel free to take a listen!
