Do you see yourself as a leader?

I am what you call…a reluctant leader.

I, by nature, am not a leader. I don’t like to lead. I prefer to be a follower. Even in video games, I play the support classes. I enjoy lurking in the background with little to no responsibility. It’s where I shine!

People that know me very well will tell you that I have the qualities to be a great leader EXCEPT for the fact that I am more like a dictator LOL. If I am going to take the time to lead, I expect those around me to bend thy knee. Just kidding…But, seriously. Bend thy knee.

My leadership style runs along the lines of a totalitarian dictatorship. As you can imagine, that doesn’t make for happy followers. But, I get the job done and usually efficiently and satisfactorily. I either draw staunch supporters, or staunch dissenters. I’m either loved or hated.

Despite this, and despite people knowing this about me, I get asked to lead a lot. I don’t know what that says about the people around me!
