Filthy Casual for Life

My first answer is exercise. I can DEFINITELY do more of that. But, that isn’t what I want to write about. Because that’s boring.

I could play more Satisfactory.

Last Monday, I had Twitch running in the background while I worked. I was listening to FrostPrime play Slay the Spire. I had noticed on the side of my screen that another one of my favorite streamers, BarbarousKing, was playing a game called Satisfactory. I didn’t click on his stream though. I had actual work to do, so I didn’t want to put on something that required I watch.

So, I came home and mentioned to my husband that Barb was playing Satisfactory. Immediately, he knew of the game and put on a how-to-play video. I was skeptical at first. It seemed too-big-brained for me. However, I decided to buy it and have been investing every free moment into it since.

Satisfactory is a factory building game. You’re dropped on an alien planet and have been sent to exploit the resources of the planet to save humanity. You have to build mega factories to gather materials and smelt/manufacture a whole array of different items. Meanwhile, you have goals that you need to meet to unlock things that help you become a better and more efficient “pioneer”.

I have barely scratched the surface and am itching to play more. I can’t wait to get home so I can build my first oil manufacturing plant!
