My sweet grandmother-in-law passed on Sunday morning. She was a cool lady. Very crafty. I loved every little handcrafted thing she gave me. She was a kind woman. When I married my husband, his grandparents lived in South Texas during the winter months. They always made sure to visit us on their way down to Alamo, Texas and on their way back up to Kansas. I have fond memories of hanging out in their hotel room and enjoying each other’s company.
I have someone close to me recently enter hospice care. He has been battling cancer. I know many of you believe in the power of prayer, so I turn to you to pray for his comfort and pray for his family.
It has been hard to focus these past couple of days. My heart hurts for my husband’s family. My heart hurts for the person who went into hospice care. I don’t know how to deal with these emotions very well.
