Filthy Casual for Life

I wanted to blog about something fun. I had a rough October and I am trying to turn this car around. So, I decided to write about a few “get-to-know-you” questions. They’re always fun to fill out.

What are your hobbies? This is an easy one. Watching anime, k-dramas, and playing PC games. This season, my favorite show is The Most Notorious “Talker” Runs the World’s Greatest Clan. Noel is my ideal anime character. I haven’t been able to watch many k-dramas lately. I have a growing list. I don’t have a PC game that I am currently playing. I recently played the heck out of Satisfactory but have since burned out on it.

Do you collect anything? I like stuffed animals and purses. I try to get my favorite Build-A-Bears when I can. I adore Squishmallows. My husband says I collect lunch boxes LOL. I do have a lot of lunch boxes. I just got a Hello Kitty one off of Temu.

What is on your bucket list? Go to Japan. I don’t really keep a bucket list, but if I did, Japan would be at the very top. We have plans to go in 2027.

What is your favorite holiday? I love Thanksgiving. I know that it is surrounded with controversy, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the holiday. I love to cook the turkey and sides and spend the afternoon gorging with my family. We do Thanksgiving luncheon so we can eat leftovers for dinner.

What skill would you most like to learn? To speak, read, and write Japanese. That would be awesome.

What is one thing that instantly makes your day better? Coffee. I can’t start my day without coffee.

What do you enjoy spending money on? Cruises! We have recently become frequent cruisers and I love it.

What are you most looking forward to? Our two upcoming cruises. The first cruise is in January 2025 on the Wonder of the Seas to the Caribbean. Then, we’re going to Aruba in February 2026 with my husband’s mother, sister, and our brother-in-law. It’s going to be good times.

Tell me your life story in exactly one sentence. A hot mess.

What is your favorite song? Black Swan by BTS. Quickly followed by Dawchwita by Agust D.

What is your go-to karaoke song. Never Enough from The Greatest Showman. Unfortunately, it isn’t a hype song. If I had to choose an upbeat song, I’d probably go with something by BTS. Maybe Butter or Dynamite.

Who is the best anime character. Tanjiro of Demon Slayer. However, I am really digging Noel from The Most Notorious “Talker”. I wouldn’t necessarily say Noel is the BEST anime character, but rather, a character that I am quickly beginning to love.

What is your favorite food? Home Slice Pizza. I don’t think this will ever change.

What are you afraid of? Tsunamis.

What is your favorite snack? Gardetto’s Snack Mix.
