The Calm Before the Storm. The Christmas Tree.

Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve was a pretty laid back day. My husband and I woke up early to go to the grocery store before things got busy. We had to buy some cat food and pick up one of my prescriptions. While we were out, my nephew was sweet and dropped off a small gift. It was very thoughtful of him.

For lunch, we went out to our favorite pizza restaurant, Home Slice. It’s a tradition to go to Home Slice on the eve of Thanksgiving and Christmas. We always get an order of garlic knots and a pepperoni/mushroom pizza.

I’ve been craving some new manga, so we went to Kinokuniya Bookstore. I ended up with a manhwa called Love is an Illusion. It’s in the omegaverse, so I thought it would be interesting.

Synoposis

While in the car driving home from the bookstore, I saw an Instagram post about Dash’s Dog Treat Maker. We took a slight detour to World Market where they had one available. We considered it a present to the dogs. When we finally got home, I made them some pumpkin peanut butter treats. They also got to open some presents.

In addition to the Dash Dog Treat Maker, my husband bought me a Hello Kitty Mystery Snack box. It’s amazing! I love everything in it.

Unlike most families, we actually open presents on Christmas Eve. We wait until it gets dark and then open our gifts. We usually have stocking stuffers on Christmas morning. It was a very blessed event.
