Episode 1: Clover is Born
In the opening of the episode, we see a party sealing a door. Through their conversation, we are made aware of a Demon Lord that is sealed for now. While the others despair, the leader of the group does not and says a new hero will emerge and finish what they could not.
We are transitioned to a live feed of the A-rank party Thunder Pike. The party seems to be working well together, thanks to the buffs and support of the behind-the-scenes caster. We learn that Thunder Pike is widely popular.
After the live stream of them slaying a hydra, the party is in an inn. Yuke, the behind-the-scenes caster, announces he is leaving Thunder Pike due to the inequality of the shares.

The party looks down on Yuke and blames his lack of contribution for his low shares. They point out he “burns through” all their items, doesn’t take part in the fight, and is only useful when preparing for their livestreams. The party makes it clear that no one is going to suffer if he quits. After taking a big swig of his ale, he makes good on his threat.
The next day, Yuke goes to the guild looking for new work. He confirms with the receptionist that he left Thunder Pike. As he is filling out paperwork, we learn that Yuke is a B-rank Red Mage and alchemist. One of his former students, Marina, a Sword Mage, approaches him. When he tells her he is looking for a party to join, she snatches his application and tells him to join their party.

Marina takes Yuke back to the rest of her party. There, we meet Silk, a Ranger, and Rain, a Priestess. They’re hesitant to take Yuke as a party member because they’re D-rank and he is B-rank. He explains it works out for him because the lower rank dungeons go through less supplies. Satisfied with that explanation, he is welcomed to their party.
They embark on their first quest together. They are to gather magic ore from an abandoned mine. Yuke decides to take lead because he has a special detecting lantern for traps. We learn that Yuke uses his alchemy skills to produce the oil that goes into the lamp saving a lot of money. They reach a chamber and Yuke senses something inside. As they prepare to fight, bogles appear.

Marina is able to dispatch the bogles with ease thanks to Yuke’s enchantments. They’re in awe of Yuke’s skill. He was able to cast three incantations without recitation with ease.
They make their way to the second floor. They run into dead miners.

Rain, the Priestess, begins to recite a spell. Yuke, once again, provide flawless support in the form of a light blessing which buys Rain time. She then completes Turn Undead. With mana depleted, Yuke casts Refresh Mana surprising Rain again. As they move on, Yuke is pouring holy water over the footprints of the undead so they won’t be followed or ambushed. The girls realize that holy water is expensive, but once again, Yuke explains he uses his alchemy skills to reduce costs. They stop to rest and Yuke breaks out some more awesomeness. He whips up the girls a small feast before they continue on.

They reach the fourth floor and come to a great mining spot, but it is being guarded by a rock lizard. With Yuke’s enchantments, Marina quickly and easily slices through the lizard’s neck. Yuke begins mining while the girls pick up what falls to the floor. They’re still a bit short to finish the quest, so Yuke suggests that they go to the fifth floor boss to proceed to the sixth level. They’re afraid to fight the floor boss because it is more powerful than the rock lizard. Yuke decides that he will defeat the floor boss on his own. He pulls out his Camerat to record the battle for his notes. The girls decide they want him to livestream it instead. They realize they never formally named their party. They decide on Clover because the girls are the three leaves and Yuke is their fourth lucky leaf.
Yuke buffs himself before entering the room and starting the livestream. There, in the room, lies the Steel Crab.

Without hesitation, or fail, Yuke immediately casts five different spells to blind and immobilize the steel crab and then cast gravity to kill it. He ends the livestream. Marina tackles him with a hug and they all praise him for being so strong and smart. The treasure chest appears and Clover finishes it first quest together.

THOUGHTS
It’s cute! What better way to get your bearing back from elitist jerks than to join up with your former students. The three girls have a lot of potential. With the support of Yuke, I believe they will become a very strong party very fast. It is refreshing that the girls recognize how lucky they are to have Yuke by their side. He is obviously blessed with a lot of skills that were taken for granted. Yuke deserves to be appreciated and praised.
I am looking forward to seeing their adventures together. Will continue to monitor.
