Hi, everyone!

I hope that this post finds you well. I am happy to report that I am over my month-long illness. It’s been a journey, that’s for sure.

I have to admit that I’ve been feeling guilty that I haven’t maintained my writing. I admit that I have hit a bit of writer’s block. This season’s anime hasn’t really resonated with me. Well, the exceptions being Shangri-La Frontier and Solo Leveling.

What have I been doing in the meantime? I’ve been playing a lot of EverQuest. I’ve been having a lot of fun. It brings back so many memories. I found a guild full of people that are kind and supportive. It’s been my happy place. While I write this, I am farming acrylia ore for my tradeskilling. I went on my first raid Friday night. I ended up getting a lot of upgrades in gear which has made me happy. I still have five more levels to go before I can go on the “big boy” raids.

I have been grappling with the idea of reviewing more Boys Love manga/manhwa. However, I know that is content that most people probably don’t want to read.

We have our next cruise booked for February of 2026. We’ll be going to Aruba. I’ve always wanted to go to Aruba. The beaches look amazing in all the pictures that I have seen. We already need to think about booking flights.

The plan is still to go to Japan in 2027. Whether or not we make our fundraising goals by early 2026 will determine if we have to push it off for another year. The plane tickets are something else. The plane tickets cost more than the actual week of lodgings and entertainment for a week in Japan. Crazy, right?

Anyhow — I’ll catch up with all of your blogs sometime this week. I have got to get my crap together! Take care and I hope to get you some content worth reading soon!

  1. Oo, Aruba sounds very exotic! The only thing I know about Aruba comes from a Beach Boys song. I’m planning my second trip to Mexico this year, and it’s kind of stressful. The juggling of the flights, the airbnb’s, the bus tours, there’s just so much to plan ahead of time! And this is all for someplace right next door to the US. I love seeing new places, but the travel part is pretty complex. Soo much planning, so much planning. I can totally understand taking plenty of time to plan out flights for cruises months ahead of time.
