I love food and I love cooking food. It’s a favorite pastime of mine. However, I am horrible at keeping recipes. I bookmark them online, but that just isn’t the same as a physical copy.
I am thinking about creating a physical copy of my most used recipes. I really dislike page protectors because they’re flimsy, so I am thinking of creating full laminated pages. I have a laminator from my band booster president days and I’ve only used it to make tags for my cruising ducks. I’m going to have to see how that turns out. In my mind, it would make it easy to wipe down.
I’m also going to get creative on Canva. I don’t want the recipe pages to be plain and boring. What fun is that? I want to include pictures and clip art and things that will make the page fun.
Have you ever created your own recipe book? How did you go about it? Do you think the laminated pages is a good idea?
That leads me back to actually cooking. I have six. Yes, six, Pioneer Woman cookbooks. I have yet to read through most of them. I like her recipes. They’re pretty simple and easy to make. So, look forward to more cooking posts about the recipe of the week. This week, I am going to try honey-plum soy chicken. It sounds delicious. It’s a bit of an undertaking, but I am up for the challenge.
