Can you believe it is the end of June?! Time has flown by so fast. Thought I would give an end-of-month update.

Things here in my household have been crap. Not gonna lie. Totally crap.

Our AC went out. Yep. First, it was the compressor. Thankfully, it was under warranty so we only had to pay a small fortune instead of a large one. Our house got up to the 80s. It was absolutely miserable. Notice I said the first time. A week later, it went out again. The fan wasn’t working. My husband was hoping it was just a blown capacitor, but that wasn’t it. The AC people came out and it was some kind of electrical issue. They got it fixed and now we have AC again. Please do not go out again…The weather hasn’t even hit the 100s yet.

I’m sick. As I type this, I have some kind of cold. I THINK it is a head cold, but I am not sure. It is definitely not something like the flu or Covid. I don’t feel bad enough for either of those. But, I do feel terrible. I have congestion, cough, scratchy throat and runny nose. Basic symptoms of a cold.

I have to see a pulmonologist. As you might be aware, I’ve shared with you all that I am a Type 2 diabetic. With that comes a wide range of chronic illnesses. I don’t want to get too much into detail, but I have to see a pulmonologist this week. I’m pretty stressed about it. Thankfully, the boss is letting me work from home that day. It was either take this appointment or wait until October/December to see him.

My dogs won’t let me sleep. They literally parkour off of me. The heat from the AC not working made them sleep a lot and now, their sleep schedule is all out of whack. Hopefully, they get into a nightly rhythm soon.

Shipt orders have been few. I am so eager to shop for people, but the orders are few and far between. I am not reaching my personal monetary goals and that makes me worry about our savings for Japan.

The good news is July is my birth month, so I am looking forward to that. It also means one month closer to our Aruba cruise. I am so looking forward to that. With rain comes eventual sunshine, right? Right?!
