I work for a small boutique law firm in Texas. I work as a commercial construction litigation paralegal, arbitration case manager, and e-discovery manager. I know. What a mouthful. Basically, I assist attorneys in the litigation process. I help draft lawsuits, lien documents, and help in motion practice. I also assist everyone with their e-discovery needs. I currently support two attorneys full-time, but also help other attorneys as needed. The firm I work for mainly handles commercial construction. Think large hospitals, stadiums, highway construction, etc. However, I heard that we’re going to start taking residential cases soon.

I do have my own office which can be rare. Other law firms are known for throwing all of their staff in a large room full of cubicles. I am blessed to not be in that situation.
