Here is the saga that is my Christmas tree. Last year, we bought a new couch. Because we bought a new couch, we had to buy a slim Christmas tree. Here you can see the stark difference in fullness and size.

My husband decided to change our garage into his home gym so there is A LOT of equipment in there. Due to that, I have no where to store this tree. So, I keep it up all year round. Sure, it’s the lazy thing to do, but *shrug*. It is what it is.
Last year, we also got a new puppy. Mochi.

Mochi – being a puppy – chewed on the lower branches of the tree thus breaking the lights. So now, I have a one-year old tree that doesn’t light properly because it was a prelit tree. There is no way I am buying a new tree when this one is only a year old.
Fast forward to now. I was scrolling through Instagram (or “the Gram” as I like to call it) when I got a notification for Govee lights. They had a set of Christmas lights 40% off on Amazon. It was a deal that I couldn’t pass up. So now, I have two 66ft. light strands making their way to me on Monday. My tree is going to make the Griswolds blush. That’s 120ft of lights on a 7ft. slim tree. Here is a link to the lights: CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTS
We bought new ornaments in pink, purple, and white so that the lights really pop off of the ornaments.
I’ll post pictures on Monday if I get it done!
