Previously, Rugjen was navigating the world of Twitch alone. The more we thought about it, we came to the conclusion that a united front may be what we need to take our hobby to the next level.
Hello, I am SupremeOverlord426, but you can call me Overlord. I am a casual PC gamer that is taking the plunge back into console gaming. I will be producing all social media content, moderating our stream, and producing our YouTube content. I will also join Rugjen on stream for co-op/multi-player games, but mostly, I’ll be the voice of the stream.
My husband, Rugjen, will be the main streamer. Rugjen has decades of gaming experience, PC and console, and is the much stronger gamer. He also tends to stay informed regarding games and the technology associated with them. He is the more technical savvy, and I am the more creative element.
I originally started this website to dabble in blogging. After taking a long hiatus due to my health, we begin discussing what steps we wanted to take. Rugjen’s stream needed a face lift, and I needed something more demanding. We realized that the Filthy Casual branding fit with the style of game play and content we wanted to create. We are both casual gamers. In the past, we BOTH invested years of our lives playing EverQuest and World of Warcraft. As we got older, the appeal of MMORPGs started to disappear.
We’re not super-expert gamers or speedrunners. What we both have is a love for gaming, but don’t have the fortitude to play a game every day, multiple times a day, for months on end.
Our stream will be a variety gaming broadcast. In other words, we are not a game-specific and/or game-dedicated stream. We’ll change things up often. Currently, we’re looking at streaming three times a week since we are both working full-time.
