How do you unwind after a demanding day?

How do you unwind after a demanding day? It really depends. I have a few things I do depending on the situation.

Watch anime. This shouldn’t be a surprise to my subscribers. I love anime and it helps me unwind from a particularly challenging day.

Video Games. Currently, I am playing Balatro, Rise of Nations, and Soulstone Survivors. I was trying to play Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, but that thing is too hard for me. I don’t make it very far.

Blogging. Sometimes, I just need to type it out. I try not to make this site a negative space, so I tend to raise my spirits by writing about something that makes me happy, like anime.

Watch a k-drama. I haven’t done this lately, but I need to start back up. There are a ton of newer shows that I need to binge!

Take a hot shower. I tend to get physically stressed after a demanding day. I like to take a scalding hot shower to melt the day away.

What about you? What do you like to do to melt away the stress from a challenging day?

  1. Watching anime kept me sane through the pandemic. I was watching the kids all day long and the. Working through the night. If I hadn’t watched something before going to bed a four in the morning I would have lost my mind.

    1. Animal Crossing and anime kept me sane during the pandemic. I didn’t have kiddos (my one kiddo is 24) to watch. I can only imagine your exhaustion. Anime. Healer of the soul!

  2. Watching anime definitely helps me relax after a tough day. Anime and video games were like my life preserver keeping me afloat during the pandemic. I didn’t have kids to watch, but dealing with the calls every few weeks of another family member’s death took it toll on me. Nearly half my family passed away in the first year of the pandemic, it was horrible. Anime and video games was like my safe place to escape to.

    1. I am sorry you lost many family members during that time. That must have been hard.

  3. K-dramas can get a little addicting. My wife and I try to have a little distance between them. After we finish one, we don’t start another for a little bit.

    1. That’s where I went wrong. I binged too many back-to-back. Now, I haven’t watch a show in a long time.
