I think everyone’s definition of “nervous” can vary. When I think of nervous, I define it as easily agitated, highly strung, anxious, or apprehensive.
What makes you nervous? The better question is what DOESN’T make me nervous. I’m an anxiety-ridden hot mess of a person. But, for the purpose of this prompt, I narrowed it down to three specific things that make me nervous.
My food touching. I know, this is a weird one. But, nonetheless, it is true. My food touching makes me extremely nervous, anxious, and agitated. I don’t really know when it started. I’d have to say the older I got, the more prominent it got. Or, perhaps, I stopped caring about expending the energy to hide my quirk. Here is a real picture of how I eat my Thanksgiving dinners. I don’t mind sauces/jams/jellies to touch. I’ve never not eaten food because it touches. I can manage, but there is definitely nervousness when it does.

Other people’s children. I am not good with children. Even my own. Other people’s children make me nervous. I don’t want to be left alone with them. Holding babies makes me extremely nervous. I feel like I’ll drop them, so I avoid holding other people’s children altogether. I am sure they’re grateful because who would want someone nervous handling their precious child?

Public speaking. I am terrified of public speaking and/or presenting. I am not good at it at all. I would much rather feel the sting of a thousand needles than have to speak in public. I used to be a performer and I can’t do that anymore either. People make me nervous. Being around people makes me nervous.
What about you? What can you put in your nervous column?
