If you have followed this site for any amount of time, you know that my one bucket list item is to go to Japan. We’ve been saving up for quite a while and we are so close to the goal line. However, the prices are creeping up slightly faster than we can save.

My oldest sister has been a personal shopper for Shipt as a side hustle. Taking from her fine example, I decided to sign up for Shipt and become a personal shopper on the weekends. I know it isn’t going to bring in a lot of cash, but definitely more than me sitting at home doing nothing.

I haven’t done my first shop yet. I’ll have to tell y’all how it goes.

  1. Oo, I did personal shopping as a side hustle before, it’s tough. You really have to move! If you aren’t speed walking through that store you are going to get into trouble, because, yes you are timed on how long you take to do each customer’s shopping list. Then if the store doesn’t have an item on the shopping list you have to message the customer and ask if you can grab another brand as a replacement, then you have to wait for a reply and that waiting time is counted against you. I ended up quitting after just a few weeks, it was too fast paced and too stressful for me.

    1. We will have to see if I like it. My sister gave me a lot of tips, so I am hoping I like it enough.
