Hi, everyone!

It’s been a while! Sorry that I haven’t posted in a long time. I’ve been busy with life and it left very little time to blog. I’m hoping 2026 will bring more things to write about.

Work. We wound down 2025 with an awesome Christmas party at Top Golf. I have never been to Top Golf before. It was so fun! I hope to go back with my family in the future. I totally can’t hit the ball all that well, but well enough to play the games. We also had a work Secret Santa that was awesome. It was nice to have lunch with the co-workers and open gifts. I was very blessed this year. The new paralegal got me a Kuromi Funko Pop that I did not have. My Secret Santa got me a cute Hello Kitty lamp, some Sanrio gel pens, and shower steamers. The office manager got me a Kuromi calendar. My other co-worker is an absolute angel and got me the Starbucks Hello Kitty tumbler!

Christmas. I also had a very blessed Christmas. We spent it with my mother in law. We went to Home Slice Pizza for Christmas Eve lunch, the Brazilian Steakhouse for Christmas Day lunch, and I cooked a ham dinner for the day after.

New Years. We don’t usually celebrate New Years Eve. It’s just not a big deal to our family. We did, however, go out to Julie’s Noodles in Austin on New Years Day. We ordered pork and chive dumplings, beef noodle soup, and pork soup dumplings. They were all amazing. Then, we went next door and grabbed some bubble tea.

Shopping. I had a gift card burning in my pocket, so after eating noodles, Casey took me to Toy Joy and I found the cutest charm bracelet. It was Sanrio themed. I picked that up and a new pouch to attach to my new Kate Spade purse and hand wallet my mother-in-law got me. The Kuromi/My Melody wallet I got last Christmas, but it matches my new bag.

HEADING INTO 2026

Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. I can’t believe it, but the cruise we booked over a year ago is only 55 days away! We’ll be traveling on the Majestic Princess to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. I haven’t been able to go on a real vacation since January of last year. I got really sick and burned a lot of my PTO recovering from various ailments. I hope that I don’t get as sick this year.

Japan. Can you believe that after we return from our cruise, we will start planning our Japan trip in earnest? We’re going to book flights a year out, so as soon as they become available for the month of late March, early April, we’ll book. The hotel we want to stay at is also very popular, so we have to book them out a year as well. Then, it’s just wait. Can it really be within grasp?!

BTS 2026! It was just announced that BTS will be releasing their new album soon as well as announce their tour schedule in mid-January. I PRAY they come to Texas. Jin came to Dallas, so I am hoping BTS will also come to Dallas. I am going to do everything in my power to get floor seats, damn it.

Anime. I just started the winter season and so far, I’ve loved everything I have touched. I’m not sure that I have the energy to do a normal write-up this season, so I may just do reactions to the episodes. We’ll see where my energy takes me.

I hope you all had a great close to 2025 and I wish you a wonderful 2026!

  1. Wow, sounds like your holidays were lots of fun! December for me is usually a mad dash of long hours at work plus extra work days getting ready for the end of the year financial reports, family get-togethers, fairs, shows, shopping, baking, decorating, gift wrapping, more shopping, and parties I’m half asleep while attending. I don’t need to drink at holiday parties, I’m always punch drunk from fatigue. I love the holidays, but they are exhausting. I’m always glad when they are over, and always vow to try to take it easy next year, and I always forget all of that by next holiday season.
