Another BTS song I wanted to share with you all. This particular ballad has a permanent place in my heart.

I am remarried. My first marriage was a complete disaster for reasons I won’t get into here. No matter how much you come to terms with a divorce, a part of you dies with it. All those years feel wasted and you mourn no matter how much you try not to.

This song is about overcoming darkness. Specifically, finding that special someone that becomes the light in the darkness. There is hope for the future despite a lingering painful past.

Casey was my light that pulled me out of the darkness. He was a beacon when things seemed grim. This song reminds me that despite the darkness, I see him and his eyes are a source of strength.

BTS’s songs are amazing. This one in particular because they’re singing in JAPANESE! Seriously? How can they sing so well in so many languages?!
