They say the first step is recognizing that you have a problem. I have a problem and it all starts with this store:
MINISO is a store that specializes in “blind boxes”, stationery, plushies, and skin care. They have everything from key chains, to fridge magnets, phone charms, and even pet supplies. They also carry a lot of Japanese snacks.
If you don’t know what a “blind box” is, it is literally what it sounds like. The character/figure you are trying to get is sealed in a box. You don’t know which character you got until you open the box. I am addicted to all of the Sanrio blind boxes, and they have a ton of them!
I’ve been grabbing one every payday and they’re not necessarily cheap. The ones I buy are typically in the $30 range for one. I am quickly running out of room for them. Here are the latest purchases:
