If you haven’t read my previous posts about my future trip to Japan, feel free to go back and catch yourself up:

Day One – Ikebukuro + Harajuku
Day Two – Asakusa + Ueno
Day Three – Akihabara
Day Four – Atami + Ginza

Denny’s. The day is going to start out with breakfast at a local Denny’s. We tried to find something unique, but The Making of Harry Potter did not really have many places around it. We searched some other places, but weren’t impressed, so going to a chain restaurant it is!

The Making of Harry Potter. We are hoping to snag tickets to the first entry time. Our day really hinges on getting into Harry Potter first thing in the morning. We hope to get through the whole experience in four hours. I’ve done some research and some people can manage to spend the whole day there. I, on the other hand, have ADHD and cannot focus for that long.

Shinjuku Gyoen National Gardens. The whole reason we’re going to Japan in late March/early April is to experience sakura (cherry blossom) season. I want to get as many pictures as possible. I hear they even have some wisteria. I’m not sure it will be in season, but I would love to see some.

Eggslut. How could I NOT go to a place named Eggslut?! I mean, honestly, man! They specialize in egg sandwiches. I love egg sandwiches. It’s another chain restaurant, but if you know me, you know I don’t care about that. I am not a traveler that HAS to find that diamond in the rough or eat what the locals eat.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The views from the place is supposed to rival that of Tokyo Tower or Skytree. The only difference is it is completely free!

The Giant 3D Cat. Hear me out. I know there really isn’t anything super special about the 3D Cat, but damn it. I see it online all the time, I want to see it in person. I said what I said!

Hanazono Shrine. Looking forward to visiting as many shrines as possible to get goshuin stamps. This particular shrine is dedicated to Inari Okami, the God of trade and business success.

The Godzilla Head. Again, a touristy place, but I don’t care. I want to see the damn thing.

Gonpachi Nishi-Azabu. Or otherwise known as that cool restaurant from Kill Bill. Again, a touristy spot, but I don’t care. The scenery is amazing and I hear the food quality is so-so. We’re not really going for quality food. Mostly for the atmosphere.

Hopefully the day pans out and we have an excellent time! What do you think of the day’s itinerary?
