Guys. I have been listening to Arirang by BTS nonstop since release. There isn’t a song that doesn’t slap. I thought I would share lyrics taken out of context that resonate with me.

I’m not a hand holder, but it’s metaphorical, you know? I want to be able to “hold your hand” and help you through the tough times.

When I think of these lines, I think of moving forward with someone. I think it could mean someone not necessarily a lover. At least that is my interpretation.

This could mean so many things for so many people. It could be about a relationship that you can’t get out of, or a relationship that you don’t want to get out of that you know you probably should.

Wish I had a minute just to turn me off
Kerosene, dopamine, what I gotta do?
Yeah, we call this shit normal
These lyrics hit me hard. I’m going through a thing right now that has my emotions all over the place, but that’s pretty normal for me.
Like Animals

Again, these lyrics hit me hard. ARMY always say that BTS finds you when you need them the most, and they found me again with this song. When you want to be vulnerable with someone, you want to tell them, look. I want to share myself with you. No one is perfect. I have my own shit, too.
They Don’t Know ‘Bout Us

If you wanna know me, what can I do for you?
They keep asking just what was so different?
I answer, I don’t know either
These are complicated lyrics/emotions for me. Again, I think these can be more than just about lovers.

Again, I think these lyrics can be for more than just lovers. Family. Friends. No matter what the circumstance. No matter what. I’ll be there.
I just wanna go home to where you are
Where the grass grows and the stars set
Peace. A picture of peace.
