Can you believe that May is halfway over?! I can hardly believe it myself. I feel like the year just started and here we are. My niece just graduated college. High school kids are about to graduate. Crazy!

Family. My niece just graduated from Arizona State University with her nursing degree last weekend. We’re all very proud of her. She worked very hard. It was good seeing her and my sisters.

Work. Work has been busy. We had two new clerks start last week. I haven’t really interacted with them, but I am sure they are delightful. We have a lot of changes in the pipeline, so I am awaiting those. I believe we have hired a few new attorneys that will be starting soon.

Japan. We bought the plane tickets. It is happening, y’all. After years of planning. It is finally happening. We’ll be going during sakura season as planned. We were able to book our hotel weeks ago. We got good prices. We were looking at current hotel prices and YIKES. Talk about seasonal price gouging. Now, we’re in saving mode for expenses. The trip planning will have to begin in earnest. We’ve sort of put a game plan together, but now we really have to get down to the grindstone and polish it.

BTS. I’ve been watching clips from the tour and I am so hyped. No one puts on a show like BTS. Jimin. Oh, Jimin. You dancin’ god. LOL. August can’t get here soon enough. I am excited to see how good our seats are going to be. We’re in section 144. The one thing I am SORT of bummed about is our stadium is going to be closed, so we won’t have the fireworks, BUT we will have air conditioning. Considering it is going to be 100+ degrees in the middle of August, the closed stadium is probably the best bet.

Mental Health. Despite all the good things going on around me, my bipolar disorder hasn’t been cooperating. I’ve been struggling to keep things in check. In turn, I’ve made a few mistakes that have left me in a depressive state. I’m trying my best to fight the good fight. There are certain things going on right now that are making that very hard. Not impossible. But, hard.
