Just as they approach a bridge, his vision narrows and his heart starts racing. There, sitting along is Yuzu and he immediately knows that she is his bride. He has his driver immediately stop the car and that is the moment he meets Yuzu for the first time.

The morning after the adoption, Yuzu meets the servants for the first time. She’s overwhelmed. She has obviously never been the lady of a household before. Reiya is suddenly summoned to the main house and must leave. As he drives away, his heart beats suddenly. He doesn’t want to be away from her. Yuzu’s servant takes her to her room where it is decorated with the finest furnishings.

Yuzu asks her servant about the head of the family. The servant tells Yuzu that the head of the family’s demonic power is unmatched. Yuzu is uneasy that Reiya has to tell him about her. But, as Reiya goes to the main house, he is lovingly attacked by his parents.

She cried and then Touko invited her to her place where she lives with her demon fiancé. There, they sense the ogre all over her.

As Reiya is leaving the main house, he is apprised that Yuzu left the house.

Meanwhile, at Touko’s house, Yuzu is telling her the whole story. When her fiancé puts it together that she’s Reiya’s fiancé, he loses his mind.

Reiya is uneasy. He finds the lesser ogres and reprimands them for letting Yuzu go out of their sights. He finds Yuzu and meets her friends. On they way back to the compound, Yuzu asks him to allow her to work. He admits he’s the one that called her work to quit for her. She tells him she doesn’t want to rely on him too much. He tells her the minute she accepted to be his bride, the rest of her life became his.

THOUGHTS

SQUEE! It is about time he kissed her!

I can totally understand her hesitation. It is a complete life altering thing to go from complete neglect to complete love. I would be wary, too. It would take a great deal of trust. How can you put that much trust in someone you just met?

At the same time, look how utterly and devastatingly handsome he is! Swoon!

His parents were completely adorable. Not what you would expect. I am glad that they did not go the over bearing route. That would have ruined the whole thing for me. The whole “prove yourself to the family” arc would have really been a bummer.

Will continue to monitor.
