I am going to have to go with James Cameron. He has directed some real bangers:
- The Terminator (1984)
- The Abyss (1989)
- Titanic (1997)
- Avatar (2009)
However, out of all of the movies he has directed, my all-time favorite movie…and not just out of what he’s directed…my ALL-TIME, NUMBER ONE FAVORITE MOVIE, is Aliens.
The Xenomorph
This movie is a masterpiece. Still, to this day, no creature is as iconic as the xenomorph. With all the CGI and computers they have today, they have yet to create something as good as the xenomorph.
Ellen Ripley
In my mind, Ellen Ripley is one of, if not THE, O.G. female protagonist. She came out of the first movie a broken woman and emerged from the second movie a completely changed woman. Strong. Kick ass. Hard core.
