The Fit. When I was little, it was the black costume and the red light saber. It was iconic. When it was time to play Star Wars, guess who played Darth Vader? ME. I didn’t want to be Princess Leia and her weak ass rebel costume
The Breathing and THE VOICE. Hello? The breathing and THE VOICE? What is more iconic than Darth Vader’s breathing/voice?
The Choke Hold. I wanted to be the badass that could choke people with his mind! For me, it was the power. The sheer power. I understood that he was the power of the universe and Luke got lucky.
The Fear. Even as a child, I understood the fear that he created. I respected that. They say that one should not rule through fear. I don’t know about that. I sit on the fence. I think there can be a healthy balance.
