At one point in our lives, most of us have had a roommate. Whether it be at college or after, we’ve had to live with someone other than family. It was either a pleasant experience or a rather terrible one. Today, let’s explore which anime characters would be absolutely terrible roommates.

Inosuke – Demon Slayer

He’s like a bull in a china shop. He would bulldoze over everything. He would climb over everything. He has no sense of manners or propriety. He would eat your leftovers and drink the last of the milk. He would be absolutely loud. You would absolutely get noise complaints. Let us not forget that he would challenge you on everything. Who could brush their teeth the fastest. Who could eat their dinner the fastest. Hygiene would be optional. Bedrooms would be optional. Personal space would be optional.

Hisoka – Hunter x Hunter

With Inosuke, you know what you’re getting. Complete chaos. With Hisoka, it’s the complete opposite. You’re getting complete unpredictability. Hisoka is unhinged. He would make every conversation mysterious and unpredictable. You would find random playing cards taped to your door for no apparent reason with no explanation. Your friends would be unsettled when they came over. Is he joking? Is he serious? You would constantly be on edge. It would be psychological warfare. And he would love every moment of it.

Zenitsu – Demon Slayer

Oh, Zenitsu. The child is in perpetual fear. He would constantly be afraid of everything. He would scream. A LOT. A spider? A scream. You’re home late? A scream. Oh, the drama. Everything would be dramatic. He would have nightmares and want to cuddle with you. He would be a stage 10 clinger. He would complain about absolutely everything. His confidence is non-existent. You would have to spend every free moment boosting his confidence. A girl? He would be enamored with every girl he sees. You would have your hands full!

One response to “Anime: Anime Characters That Would Be Terrible Roommates”

  1. I think another anime character that would make a bad roommate is Vash from Trigun. He would break stuff with his klutziness, not clean stuff up much, run off to play with the neighborhood kids and leave the chores to you, but you could never get mad at him because he has a heart of gold. On the other hand I think that weirdly Spike from Cowboy Bebop would probably be a great roommate, he’s grumpy but he would mind his own business, clean up after himself, stay quiet most of the time and pitch in when he saw that it was a team effort.
