Without a doubt, Dungeon Crawler Carl. If you have not had the pleasure of reading DCC, pick it up NOW. It is probably the BEST series I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Yes. Listen to it. Pick up the audio books. They’re fantastic. The voice acting. *chef’s kiss*

Imagine it. One night, you walk outside. Earth around you is literally crushed by an alien corporation with the sole purpose of creating a televised dungeon-crawl survival game that the remaining humans alive must participate in for the entertainment of the galaxy. You must survive floor-to-floor in the hopes of making it deep enough in the dungeon to bargain for your life for a place into the galaxy.

There is no way I could live with the stress of fighting for my life every minute of every day.
