New segment. I want to thank @frogsareevil for the segment idea. Moving forward, I plan to make Mondays all about Chibi’s Photo Diary. I plan on posting a picture from my Google Photos and writing about it. It might be a current photo. It might be a photo from my past. Either way, I hope you enjoy getting to know me a little better through photos from my life.
My husband and I went to a hot salsa festival in Austin, Texas. It was miserably hot. Over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Set up at a table was The Texas Stars, our local AHL hockey team. I believe it was their inaugural season. They were raffling off season tickets. My husband filled out a form and thought nothing off it. A few weeks later, he receives a phone call. We won!
At one of their games, they were doing a fundraiser called Chuck a Puck. My husband decided to throw his hat into the proverbial ice rink and buy a few pucks to toss. The prize for throwing closest to the target in the middle of the ice was a jersey signed by all the players. Guess who won? So, here I am. Wearing said jersey a few weeks into winning our season tickets. I was frowning because the thing doesn’t fit me at all. Despite it not fitting, it was one VERY lucky year.
