REAL LIFE:
This weekend, my husband’s best friend, Brad, is driving down from Kansas for a visit. On the docket:
- Texas Stars Game
- Lupe Tortilla
- Haru
- Board Games
Hopefully, I will find inspiration for content that I can share with you! We love going out and trying new restaurants. This weekend, we’re taking Brad on a small food tour of some of our favorite ATX (Austin, TX) area restaurants. Also, a trip to Texas would not be complete without a Texas Stars game.
IN THE WORKS:
Yesterday, my new gaming chair from Secret Lab was delivered. I purchased the Omega Classic. I plan on doing a piece on my initial impression of the chair, and then a follow-up after three months. Is $330 for a gaming chair worth it for a filthy casual like me? Stick around a few months and let us find out together.
Also, this weekend, I plan on testing out a silicone baking mat alternative to Silpat. Is $25 for a baking mat too outrageous? Can the $5 alternative possibly stand up to the challenge? We’re going to find out.
Amazon’s Alexa vs. Google Home Mini. Which do I like better?
My husband is pretty amazing and bought me the sweetest gift. It’s nothing fancy, but the official write up is in the works.
