I’m The Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss
Romantic Comedy, Otome Isekai
Aileen Lauren d’Autriche – A female addicted to otome games is reincarnated as a noble engaged to Prince Cedric. To her surprise, she is reincarnated into a world that she knows from the otome games that she plays.
Claude Jean Ellmeyer – The original heir to the throne. Claude is stripped of his title when it is discovered he has demon powers. Claude is the demon that Aileen has to “tame” to avoid her death.
Cedric Jean Ellmeyer – The younger brother to Claude. Initially engaged to Aileen, he breaks the engagement to engage Lilia Reinoise.
Lilia Reinoise – The antagonist.
Aileen is reincarnated into an otome game world where she knows the plot of the story. In the original plot, she is killed by Claude, the demon lord. In order to change her fate, Aileen uses her knowledge of the game to “tame” Claude before he has a chance to turn against her. However, her plans are consistently foiled by Lilia.
I am an absolute sucker for otome isekai. This isekai is no different. It follows the typical plot of an otome isekai, and that is entirely okay! The isekai world is definitely no match for Aileen. She is overpowered in every sense of the word. She is cunning, intelligent, and a loose cannon. Due to her beauty and nature, she builds a small harem of men willing to help her out at every turn. I found this anime very enjoyable. It had the right balance of humor and even a few moments of teasing that could be interpreted as lewd. There really isn’t anything special about this anime. It doesn’t scream originality. The story flowed nicely and had me returning every week. If you are a sucker for otome isekai like I am, I think you’d enjoy this show.
