SERIES SUMMARY
An ordinary walk home from school turns into an epic journey for Usato. After suddenly being dropped into another world with two fellow students, Usato learns he was summoned there by accident. But things turn around when he discovers a unique aptitude for healing magic! Now, he trains beyond human limitations, using his self-healing abilities to gain absurd strength and unrivaled stamina.

EPISODE 1: DRAGGED INTO ANOTHER WORLD!
The student council president and vice president are walking down the hall together. Student council president Inukami Suzune has a powerful aura about her. Student council vice president Ryusen Kazuki follows her and emits confidence. As they walk together, the other students can’t help but wonder if they’re a couple. On the other hand, we have ordinary student Usato Ken who yearns for an extaordinary life.
It’s a rainy day and someone stole his umbrella. He wishes he knew magic and decides to wait for the rain to stop, but it is not stopping. Suddenly, Inukami appears and deduces that he does not have an umbrella. She reminds him all students need to leave soon. He decides he’s going to brave the rain. That is until Ryusen walks up and offers him his spare umbrella. In an unexpected turn of events, he is invited to walk home together.
Usato discloses his thoughts that they would both be unapproachable. Then, out of nowhere, he asks if they’re a couple. They admit they are not a couple. In fact, Inukami finds it refreshing that he asked so directly. Inukami suddenly asks Usato whether he has thought about his future. She admits that she has no clue what she wants to do after high school. She expresses that she feels like she doesn’t belong in this world. Suddenly, Inukami and Ryusen hear church bells. However, Usato does not. Usato approaches them. Suddenly, a magical circle appears beneath them. Usato immediately deduces that it is a magic circle to another world. Ryusen is confused demonstrating that he is not educated in the realm of isekai. Excited, Inukami asks Usato whether the other world will be filled with magic.
Upon arrival, Inukami is excited shocking Usato. King Lloyd Vulgast Llinger informs the three that they were isekai’d to be heroes. The world is being attacked by demons. They were able to fight off the demons during the first attack, but they doubt they have the resources to fight off another. Quickly, Usato learns that he was isekai’d by accident.
They are then brought to a crystal ball to measure their magic. Inukami is talented in thunder magic. Ryusen is gifted in light magic. When it was Usato’s turn, the ball turned green. Welcie, the person running the magic orb, demeanor changes. Welcie grabs Usato and runs to the king’s chamber. She tells the king the orb turned green and we learn that Usato can use a very rare form of magic. They decide they want to hide Usato. As they make their decision, the person they feared pushes open the door.
She asks Usato if he is a hero. The king stammers and tells him he is not. She introduces herself as Rose, captain of the kingdom’s Rescue Team. As she walks away, Usato asks the king what the green color meant. Overhearing, Rose turns around. She says she wants to borrow Usato. The king orders Welcie to remove Usato. As Usato flies out of the castle, Rose intercepts. She tells the king that she will make him a full-fledged healing magic user. At the Rescue Team headquarters, Usato is introduced to Rose’s underlings. They make is clear that she is going to put him through hell.
THOUGHTS
I think this is going to be an interesting show. Yes, it is your generic “accidentally isekai’d” trope, but let’s be honest. How can they really introduce a new isekai trope. I feel they’ve all been done. That aside, I liked how they make something that should be awesome into some forbidden skill. It was hilarious how they all feared Rose, so that foreshadows that healing is different in this world. I look forward to future episodes. Will continue to monitor.
