What jobs have you had?

Texas Cookies & Cream: It was a small ice cream shop in the Parks Mall in Arlington, Texas. It was my very first job. It was laid back and a good learning experience.

Chuck E. Cheese: One of my first jobs in high school was at Chuck E. Cheese. Yes, I wore that hideous rat costume and watched children flee in horror. I also ran the birthday parties on the weekends. That part was actually pretty fun.

Target: I worked at Target multiple times throughout my life. I worked in the electronics department, as a cashier, in hardlines, and in the food court.

The United States Army. I was a flute/piccolo player for the United States Army. I’m the super short one.

Burger King. I worked at the First Cavalry food court at Fort Hood (now Fort Cavazos) while I was going to school.

Panda Express. Worked at Panda while going to school. It was a fun job.

Paralegal. Currently a paralegal for the last 15 years.

  1. How do you like being a paralegal?

    1. I love being a paralegal. I work in commercial construction, so it isn’t quite the “paralegal” most people tend to think about. I don’t really deal with clients all that often which is great! I don’t go to courthouses or jails. It really fits my personality of holing up in an office and doing my work.

  2. You were Chuck E. Cheese, as in Charles Entertainment Cheese?? That’s actually kind of cool 😁 I would have loved to be in the costume and see all the little kids’ reactions ❤️ Love the photos of you in the Army. You are so brave 🙌 I was too chicken to join the military.

    1. Believe it or not, most kids ran from me or beat me up. I always had to have a bouncer with me because kids would try to take the head off, push me, trip me, etc. There were still the sweet ones, of course. But mostly hellions LOL

      1. Aw man, that doesn’t sound fun 😕 I imagined it more like a Disney character, but I’ve never been to one.
