Let’s talk about it.
You’re minding your own business, and then all of a sudden, you’re bawling like a baby. I’m looking at you Demon Slayer: Mugen Train!
Why does some anime hurt so much?
It’s relatable. Let’s state the obvious. It’s relatable. We bond with what’s relatable. We resonate with what’s familiar. One of the anime that resonated with me the most is Your Lie in April because I lost my connection with music.

Character development. Sometimes, the show does a great job of character development. We get invested in the characters. We can’t help but fall in love with them. We can’t help but cheer for them or surprisingly feel sorry for them after hating them. Looking at you Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle!

Experiences we all go through. Many shows compound on experiences we all go through. One of those experiences could be unrequited love. I’ve been there. There is nothing quite heartbreaking than one-sided love just like in Blue Box.
