@justrojie asks, “Have you ever had a health scare?”

I am diabetic, so I have many little ones all the time when my blood sugar decides to crash. Some may think that it isn’t a “health scare” but it can be. At any time, a crash could send me into a coma, so yeah. It can be.

But, a health scare that stayed with me for a long time was when I was maybe 15 years old. I had a panic attack that caused me to black out and landed me in the hospital. I was out for maybe an hour before I woke up in the ER.

When I was pregnant with my son, I was in a practice room at the Armed Forces School of Music when I started having these severe cramps. I made my way out of the practice room and I I got help. They called an ambulance. I was rushed to the hospital. Everything ended up being okay.

  2. Lol, I’ve had poor health since I was a kid so my whole life is filled with health scares. When I was five I found out I was very allergic to strawberries the hard way by eating some, passing out and waking up in the ER. Just before starting high school I was misdiagnosed 6 times as terminally ill (it really was just a rare condition that was treatable) in collage I fell of a cliff while hiking and shattered my knee ended up in a wheel chair for a whole year, and a couple years ago I woke up in the middle of the night with my heart going (Thud Thud Thud! pitter pat) I was again rushed to the ER, it was Afib due to a heart abnormality that evidently I was born with but no one noticed, liver and kidney failure and to spice things up throw in a little thyroid cancer. So, yeah, I’m well experienced with health scares, and honestly after the first few they aren’t so scary anymore. It’s more like, “Uhg! Not this again!”

    1. Oh my! Those are scary! Glad you’re okay!
