If you don’t know much about the BTS ARMY, you may not know that at concerts, many fans create gifts called “freebies” to hand out at the concerts. Many of us are blessed to receive so many freebies that we simply may not have anywhere logical to put all of them. Here is my haul from Day 1 in Arlington, Texas:
I decided to make a shadowbox with the freebies I received. The idea isn’t unique. I stole (borrowed?) the idea from many ARMY before me. I just hope mine comes out as awesome as some of the ones I’ve seen on social media!
I couldn’t sleep at all last night. I played video games with “T” until 11:00 p.m. The odd thing was I fell asleep on him at least three times that I remember. I did go to sleep, but the dogs woke me up at 3:00 a.m. From that point, all I could think about was making this shadowbox, so I couldn’t fall back asleep.
Giving up on trying to fall back asleep, I broke out the freebies and emptied them all out from their individual bags to see what I actually had. I spread them out on a table tray and realized I actually had quite a bit. I took the bows out and placed them on my light sticks as decorations, so those won’t be going into the shadowbox. Also, not pictures are the keychains. Those will go in later.
I went to the local craft store and bought a 11×14 shadowbox and some other supplies and got to work. I forgot to take pictures and video of the process! HA! That was the whole point of this blog!
