Our last full day in Japan will be Shibuya. We decided we’d explore Shibuya last. Our hotel will be in Shibuya and we wanted a more relaxed day for our last day. It made sense to stick near the hotel that last day.

Flipper’s. This is a well-known restaurant that serves the soufflé pancakes. I tried to find something local, but they all seem to have the same wait times as Flipper’s. Can’t wait to try it out.

Shibuya 109. Some last-minute shopping. I hear this is a wonderful shopping mall. I can’t wait to explore!

Mega Don Quijote. I want to go simply to be able to say I went. It’s a tourist trap and I am okay with that. I know we can get things cheaper elsewhere.

Pokémon Center Shibuya. Our plan is to visit as many Pokémon Centers as possible. We want to see what special merch they have.

Hiseki. Out of all the places we’re going in Japan, this might be my most anticipated. Hiseki specializes in custom made rings made out of coins. I am hoping they have Japanese coins so that I can get a wedding band made out of it. I currently don’t wear my engagement/wedding ring because I am paranoid about losing the diamonds. I only wear them on special occasions.

Age.3. This shop specializes in deep fried creme-stuffed sandwiches. Among their sandwiches is a crème brulee sandwich.

Meiji Jungu. This is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken.

KUDOCHI. My husband found this private onsen and I am glad we’re saving it as the last thing we do in Japan. The room we want to reserve has a sauna, onsen, and a cold-water bath. You rent the room for two hours at a time. It’s on the expensive side, but we feel like it will be worth it to relax before the long flight back home.

The onsen will close out our trip. We fly out the next morning. What do you think of our last day? Do you like the idea of the onsen before flying out?
